Video Stuttering / RN312 6.1.6 / Panasonic TV
Running 6.1.6 on a RN312 with DLNA and I am seeing videos pause/stutter quite regularly. Have had the same network setup with a Duo without this issue and 6.0.8 was fine on the RN312. It's not due to hi-def bitrates (mostly standard def) but it does seem to do it with MP4 more than divx/xvid.
If I put the video on a usb and play directly to the TV it works perfectly - so doesnt seem to be the TV
Everything points to the network connection (powerline adaptors that run at ~250-300mbit through a gigabit WNDR3700 router) - but as I say, it was running perfectly for a long time and now its almost every video. A quick pause/rewind gets the video started again and it does this 2-3 times per 40min show. I have swapped out the powerline adaptors and they seem to be fine - but will try a direct network cable connection to the router this weekend.
Thoughts?

- SkywalkerNETGEAR ExpertI have a hunch. If the Panasonic TV leaves more than 5 open connections, further connections will be rejected. We probably need to up that limit. Try this:
# wget http://www.readynas.com/packages/readynasos/dists/experimental/main/pool/m/minidlna/minidlna_1.1.2~6cef303-netgear1_amd64.deb
# dpkg -i minidlna_1.1.2~6cef303-netgear1_amd64.deb
# systemctl restart minidlna - ljungTutorIs that version also available for armel?

Preliminary test seem good - no sign of stuttering over a range of SD and 720P video. Will test (ie watch lots of TV) over the weekend and report back. Thanks for your help!- SkywalkerNETGEAR Expert

Great! Thanks for the feedback. - sfigatto76AspirantHi Everybody,
I am new here, and I am sorry if I could make mistakes or I do not follow the forum protocol exactly.
I purchased a RN10200 unit a few month ago and after some OS updates up to 6.1.6 i noted the same problem such as described in some threads.
I also noted that Mr. Skywalker solution (by the way tanks in advance by me) but I do not be able to understand what is the meaning of this
"Done.
CODE: SELECT ALL
# wget http://www.readynas.com/packages/readynasos/dists/experimental/main/pool/m/minidlna/minidlna_1.1.2~6cef303-netgear1_armel.deb
# dpkg -i minidlna_1.1.2~6cef303-netgear1_armel.deb
# systemctl restart minidlna"
Anybody could be so kindly to make me that understable? I know I'm a little dummies with this such of things.
Thank you in advance.
See you - SkywalkerNETGEAR ExpertThose are commands that you would execute from an SSH command line. Another way to do this would be to download the package onto your PC [link], then install it using the Upload button in the Apps tab of the GUI. Note that you'd need to either reboot or disable and re-enable the ReadyDLNA service for the change to take effect.
