Web Server Logout Functionality
Hello!
I am trying to figure out a good way to log out of the webserver.... For example, I have a share that acts as a webserver, and it requires login to access from the outside world.
What would be the best way to delete that cookie, or log out once I have put my authentication in?
Thanks!

- I've determined there is no cookie associated with the login, so now I'm just stumped, any help would be appreciated.

Halp. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserAssuming that you are using http://NASNAME/shares/ to access the NAS:
-click the logout button at the upper left
-then exit the browser.
If you open the browser and go back to http://NASNAME/shares/, it should ask for a password again. Exiting the browser is a key step, closing the browser window is not enough. - There is no logout, most likely because I have an actual website hosted there. With scripts that I can run.
Can you tell me what the logout link actually goes to, or does? So I can recreate it. - Still looking for assist on this.

- I am not referring to frontview at all, I am referring to a share, that has a website on it, so you can go to xxxxxxxx.com and it goes to my share, you login, and you view the website.
I want to log out of that specific site, without closing the browser. - StephenBGuru - Experienced User
So how does that website do the login? is it php, or what?iceblister wrote: I am not referring to frontview at all, I am referring to a share, that has a website on it, so you can go to xxxxxxxx.com and it goes to my share, you login, and you view the website.

Can you not just include a simple a logout script, or timeout script on your website? Google will throw up lots of possibilities depending on your site language. (Code; Jave, PHP, etc)
