HELP! WAX630 QoS Settings is greyed out.
Firmware V10.8.11.4. I don't know if it's the firmware or if I'm doing something incorrect but it's not accessible as it doesn't give me the option to disable "WMM Powersave" in the WAX630 web interface. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I've called in and the tech teams are supposed to call me back as well.

What issue you intend mitigating from by disabling WMM Power Save?
WMM Power Save deploys mechanisms from 802.11e and legacy 802.11,to save power (for battery powered equipment) and fine-tune power consumption.

Re: HELP! WAX630 QoS Settings is greyed out.
The smart Amazon basic light bulbs are disconnecting. Previously I had the option to disable WMM Power Save which caused the light bulbs not to disconnect. The smart Amazon basic light bulbs all do not disconnect but some randomly disconnect because of the WMM Power Save.

Re: HELP! WAX630 QoS Settings is greyed out.
@Pramendra and @hnagaraju please, I neither don't know how to adjust the WMM controls in insight, nor do I have an idea why WMM controls are disarmed on the local Web UI (assuming the device is not in insight mode).

I opened up previously a support ticket to these issues as well.

Hello @BIG9MM
And welcome to the NETGEAR Community! 🙂
It's good that you have openned a ticket about your issue, so that engineering can take a look at it if needed to be escalated. Have you done a factory reset on the device yet?
Have a lovely day,
Erwin

Re: HELP! WAX630 QoS Settings is greyed out.
The technical support team over the phone asked the same question you did.
I have a question for you. Have you done a factory reset on your work WAX630 and logged in to see if your functionality is active with the same software I provided above?
Do you guys have access to the same equipment as the WAX630?

Re: HELP! WAX630 QoS Settings is greyed out.
I just got a update,
"Hi Robert,
This is Renna and I will be working with you on this case.
I understand that you are looking to disable the WMM Powersave on the WAX630 but the option is greyed out. I have seen the same issue using a lab unit and I have raised this to engineering. I will update you as soon as I hear from them.
Sincerely,
Renna"

Hello @BIG9MM
Unfortunately, we do not have the same level of access. However, resetting to factory defaults is a basic troubleshooting step that is often overlooked. If you wish, you may provide an update on your case with our support team?
Have a lovely day,
Erwin

Re: HELP! WAX630 QoS Settings is greyed out.
11b 11bg 11ng 11ax
The workaround is to take it off 11ax and put it on 11ng until they have a firmware update. :]
