Hello,
I have an WiFi 6 AX1800 Dual Band Wireless Access Point Model WAX204 that is connect to my main router. I use the WAX204 as an access point in the office at the back of the garden. Connection between the main router and office is via armoured network cable. From the network port in the office I use a standard RJ45 cable to connect to the WAX204. This has been working fine for several months.
On Monday all the LED's started to blink red on the WAX204 and I lost connectivity to the internet. All devices in my house wired and wireless connected to the main router were still connecting to the internet ok.
I waited a bit and rebooted the WAX204 and all worked again and thought nothing of it. Something similar happened again today but only the internet LED was flashing red so I waited. After about a minute the LED returned to green solid/flashing as expected.
Log below shows a lot of disconnects.

Has anyone experienced similar?
I assume the Initialized firmware message is just stating which firmware version is being used after a reboot.
Thanks

Operating this WAX204 in AP or in Router mode? As you are hiding the IP address with a xxx it leaves the impression it's a public IP address, as obtained from e.g. from a cable router (where the ISPs allow or offer more than one address):
[Internet connected] IP address: xxx, ...
In case it's a private RFC1918 IP address, it could be connectivity issue to your router LAN, or some odd power saving on the PHY LAN link....

Re: WAX204 intermittently disconnects from the internet
Thanks for the reply and apologies for the late update. The WAX204 is setup as an AP. However, did not think of looking at my Vriginmedia router until you mentioned it because connectivity, wired/wireless on my Virginmedia router was working fine when the AP was experiencing issues.
I ran a diagnostic check on the VM router which cambe back clean, but the diagnostic check restarts the VM router. Since then, the AP has not had an issue, no amber light and no connection drops.
Thanks for your help.
