@TeeJay74 wrote:Absolutely great news! Did you notice +20...33 % boost to downlink performance ? What's your download speed with 256-QAM ? It would be great If you could share your signal values as reference when 256-QAM is enabled.
Yes, of course, it's a difference between 256QAM and 64QAM.
Signal values:
!GSTATUS:
Current Time: 1025 Mode: ONLINE System mode: LTE PS state: Attached
EMM state: Registered Normal Service
RRC state: RRC Connected
IMS reg state: No Srv
PCC:
LTE band: B3
LTE bw: 15 MHz
LTE Rx chan: 1779
LTE Tx chan: 19779
RSSI (dBm): -46.9
RSRP (dBm): -78.8
RSRQ (dB): -10.7
RSSNR (dB): 3
Tx Power (dBm):
LTE Cell ID: 409100
Physical Cell ID: 187
TAC: 17716
OK
CQI value is between 12 and 14 with external antennas:
Speed: Download 35 mbps, Upload: 15 mbps.
@TeeJay74 wrote:Some more questions considering 256-QAM. AC810 '4G details" screen has that Quality indicator. It is a percentage value 0 -100 %. What's your quality value ? What is your physical distance to mast when 256-QAM is active ?

About physical distance between device and eNodeB i cant answer, because i'm only a simple user 🙂
Looks like 300 or 400 meters (information about eNodeB from location service xinit.ru).

Re: Netgear 810 update
How is your typical SINR behavior ? Is it stable or any big variation visible ?

Re: Netgear 810 update
I must admit I have never ever experienced such a weird and difficult device update case than getting the first firmware update to AC810. Bad reputation for Netgear for sure. Hurry is not accepted reason to delay matters indefinitely.

I am having some problems with the RNDIS functionallity via USB 3.0 ports. RNDIS-connection may drops suddenly and keeps disconnecting. Problem appears with some USB 3.0-controllers, like ASUS ASMedia. Looks like a bug.
With Linux via CDC-EEM usb bridge AIrCard 810 works fine.

Hello,
RNDIS connection, USB3 disconnect/connect loop issues detected too, ASUS motherboards (desktop¬ebook) with Intel/ASmedia USB3 ports. It may help if USB3 hub with external power supply is used. There is still nothing special with AC810's power consumption.
Below is my AC810 power consumption measurements when device is connected to Dovado PRO AC usb3 and usb2 ports.

4G+ indication fix: It is necessary to improve static.css and static_rtl.css stylesheet files for AC810-100EUS. A five-minute job.
