Disney circle enabled on router but circle app not finding

I enabled Disney circle on my router, but when I go to the circle app it says it can't find circle on my router.

Have you tried rebooting the router?
Make sure that your app is connected to the router as well.

I am unable to find the circle device on my phone. I have the most current update for the router and the app. I had to reset the app because it was causing issues, before that it found my router just fine. I have the circle control enabled on the netgear admin page and I restarted it, but I still get the message that the app can't find my router.
