Disney circle passcode reset text not receiving

I've has the same problem and not had any response from my own forum post -  so a little stuck.

Looks like my only option is now to cancel my Disney circle payment and look at other options.

It should be simple to reistall an app and get going again!!

I agree it’s really poor. 2 companies of the size and footprint of Netgear and Disney should not be passing the back to and from each other over who should take responsibility for this. The issue appears to lie with Disney as it is their software that should be sending the text. My text works fine as the netgear router software has texted me. That said, netgear are licencing this and benefitting from the association. Personally I would expect a reputable company to fix this and have the courtesy to reply. I’m tempted to post this information on every forum available highlighting the poor customer service from netgear and Disney and look to use different companies.

No help at all. I have cancelled my subscription to disney circle and will look at other options. Will consider my router options with Netgear when I come to upgrade in the future too.

So, I used the contact Disney online form and they were kind enough to send me the code. Netgear picked up the forum issue about 24h later and would have done the same I guess. Now back online. I appreciate their help but think that considering this thread has been going on for years it should have been fixed.

I have had contact with Dexter who has kindly supplied me with a code and I am back in. I did cancel but will resubscribe if all ok.

It looks the issue was the mobile number and not being set to the correct country ie UK.

I would say that there should be an easier was of resolving this type of issue though.

There is NO way in the world Netgear w repond on yr question.
The short ut is to reset the route to factor default and start from scratch. This way you can solve the problem. It takes a little time and effort, but better than to wait on the poor support FROM Netgear.

I went to Disney circle, selected the option for circle device - NOT the option for circle on netgear - and left a message. They were very helpful and sent me the passcode in less than 22h from sending the message. I also messaged netgear and they also came back but took 24h

I'm the only admin and I've clicked "Send Passcode" several times but never received the SMS.

Hi JC. I had the same issue as have many many others. It’s a classic situation where one company saying it’s the others responsibility. TBH that’s not our problem as customers. They need to sort the problem out.

What I did was I went here:

And rather than click on the netgear option I clicked on the Disney circle option. They replied within 12 hours and were very polite and helpful. They looked on the record and emailed the code. They did say I should contact netgear. I had already contacted netgear and they did eventually reply about 12 hours after Disney. So that’s my advice.

I ended up contacting the netgear support chat and they got me back on it. i received the text straightaway

Hi,

I am having the exact same issue with my passcode for Circle.

We have a Nighthawk R7000 and are suscribed to the Circle Premium on Netgear.

I have asked the app to send me a passcode several times and nothing comes through via SMS text on my phone. Without the passcode I can no longer access by Circle app.

hi i have the netgear r7000 router and got a new phone and forgot to log out of my past circle when the phone was reset and i cannot manage my circle now as well no texts are coming up which i am not sure if my old phone number is attached to the circle..
