Connect pfsense and BR200/500 Site2Site IPsec - Authentication identifier
I have a installed a Netgate pfsense router and still some BR200/500 in the locations to connect. IP adresses both sides are handled by dyndns.org. I have set Phase 1 encryption algorithm to AES256, that's the best that netgear provides.
In pfsense log you can see that they are talking to each other but stumble at the authentication with error on the identifier. Pre-Shared key is of course the same.
I have entered the dyndns names but doesn't work. Anyone has an idea what identifier Netgear needs? The is no identifier to maintain in Netgears IPSec VPN.

Re: Connect pfsense and BR200/500 Site2Site IPsec - Authentication identifier
How do I set up a site-to-site IPSec VPN on my NETGEAR BR500 Business Router? Spot the fine differences. Does this help?

Re: Connect pfsense and BR200/500 Site2Site IPsec - Authentication identifier
Unfortunately not. I know this document, I was able to connect BR500 routers with that but does not say anything regarding Identifier. The identifier can not be specified as such in the policy.
Meanwhile I have tried with dyndns name, with BR500 WAN-IP, with LAN-IP, none of that does connect
