FVS336Gv3 not displaying any wan activity logs & IPv4 and IPv6 setup
FVS336Gv3 firmware 4.3.5-3 viewing web interface on IE 11 on a Windows 10 PC
- we are trying to monitor Wan to Lan and Lan to Wan traffic but no logs get generated when these are selected and select to be viewed in Firewall Logs.view logs.
Also, we are trying to lock down rdp access to lan pc's by allowing connection from an originating address -some users have IPv4 addresses we can enter and they work but some users only get IPv6 reported from their ISP. how can we implement both?

Re: FVS336Gv3 not displaying any wan activity logs & IPv4 and IPv6 setup
Hi dfranz,
Welcome to the community! 🙂
I suggest you to try other browsers like Google Chrome or Firefox and check if you are able to view the Firewall Logs.
Another option is to enable Syslogs on your FVS336Gv3. Here are the steps below:
a. Make your PC a Syslog Server. You may download it for free like on this link. Read this link as reference guide.
Note: You may also use other Syslog Servers available online that you prefer.
b. On the web-GUI of the FVS336Gv32, go to Monitoring > Firewall Logs & E-mail then scroll down to the Enable Syslogs portion.
c. Select Yes on "Do you want to enable syslog?"
d. Enter the IP address of the PC on the Syslog Server.
e. You may select "LOG DEBUG" on the Syslog Severity.
f. Click Apply.
Check pages 575-577 of the FVS336Gv3 reference manual here about enabling Sylogs.
About your second concern, you will need to use both WAN ports of the FVS336Gv3. The first WAN port is connected to an ISP that provides internet connection using IPv4 and the second WAN port is connected to an ISP that provides internet connection using IPv6.
