FVS336Gv3 poor Troughput
Hi
I installed a NETGEAR ProSafe™ Gigabit Dual WAN SSL VPN Firewall FVS336Gv3 and I am not amused about the LAN to WAN Troughput. I have connected to WAN2 Port a "Huawei B528s-23a" LTE Modem in "Bridge Mode". On the Netgear Config-HTML-Site ist shows WAN2 connected wirth the public IP Adress from my provider.
Everythings works but when I make several speedtests on the internet, I only get 30mbit/s instead the activeted 60mbit/s. When I connect my pc direct to the Huawei-Modem I get the full 60mbit/s.
Any ideas? I found a further Thread concerning the same topic but unfortunately it was about v2
Regards, Jochen

Re: FVS336Gv3 poor Troughput
These devices should do some 350 Mb/s max (not that much!) on plain IP connectionsas per the historic data sheet, but do much less where PPPoE comes into the game because the lack of a PPPoE fast path implementation. However, I guess there is no PPPoE in the game there in oyur set-up. Latency? Cable?

Hi
no PPPoE. Both LTE Modems are in Bridge Mode and on their ETH Interface there is Gigabit and public IP.
- The LTE Tarif on first LTE Modem on WAN1 Port gives 60/12mbit/s and
- the second LTE Tarif on second LTE Modem on WAN2 Port gives 30/6mbit/s.
When I connect my PC direct to each LTE modem I reach maxmimum Up- and Download speed. When I connect all over the Netgear-Trash, I only reach ~30/~8mbit/s. I always connected with the same CAT-6-ETH Cable from the LTE modems to my PC and the router.
I already tried:
- Primary WAN without Auto Rollover
- Primary WAN with Auto Rollover
- Load Balancing Mode with Weightes LB
I guess the product description from netgear is a fraud. I only want to reach the 60mbit/s which should be possible within the 350mbit/s. also the Load Balancing mode is even not working. I should reach in upload about 18mbit/s. In real I reached maximum 8mbit/s.

See here! Two LTE lines (60/12 and 30/6) in Load Balancing mode.
I reach maximum 24/6.
This netger device is a really poor chep piece of sh*t

Re: FVS336Gv3 poor Troughput
Now I do have a solution. I threw the netgear device in trash and bought TP Link!
