Current firmware: 3.0.7-24
We have a problem with VoIP, telefony works fine but status LEDs on phones do not show status (busy/free).
The latest firmware 4.3.4-1 states the following in the release notes:
- No NAT translation of SIP headers during REGISTER, outbound call and SDP.
Will this affect the functionality for our phones?
Rules are allow all from inside to outside.
Also, we've tested with a Linksys firewall and then i works prefect.
Any ideas?
Kind regards,
/Mats

Re: SRX5308 and VOIP
Hi Mats-S,
Welcome to the community! 🙂
On the web-GUI of the SRX5308, go to Security > Firewall > Advanced. Is there a check mark on the box that says "Enable SIP ALG"?

Re: SRX5308 and VOIP
Hi, Thanks for your reply.
Yes, SIP ALG is checked.
However, I'm unsure if we've rebooted the unit since checking it. Unsure if that matters though.
kind regards
/Mats

Re: SRX5308 and VOIP
Hi Mats-S,
Let us try this. Reboot the SRX5308 then check if same problem will occur.
If ever same problem will occur, uncheck the box that says "Enable SIP ALG" then click Apply. Observe if same problem will occur.
