I have set up a VPN tunnel and it works most of the time but after communication interup or power off/on the tunnel don't establish from time to time, for about 25%.I have to turn off/on one or more times.
FW in the FVS318 is the last 4.3.3-6 and the configuration is don from an "empty" router.
I have fixa IP address on the SRX and dynamic IP on FVS, in the FVS I use aggressiv mode and initsiator. I have set the ping time to 10 sec and 3 retries so it should try to connect after at maximum 1 min.
Is this a known commen problem is so is there any work around.
I have other FVS318 routers with FW 3.x.x and I don't see this problem there.
I have not seen reported cases regarding the issue you are having so I would not say that this is a common issue. The question here should be, how long does the FVS318N's connection is established? Can you run a ping test going to a website or public DNS and restart the FVS318N and see how long it gets the connection back after the restart?
