GS752TP Unable to login
Hello all,
I have a GS752TP switch that I cannot seem to logon to the switch with the known good password. I am able to use that password in the SmartControlCenter to make a slight change. I am just unable to logon to the web admin portal. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this short of factory defaulting the switch?
Thanks!

Re: GS752TP Unable to login
Is this switch under the Insight cloud management for example?
The local admin password is typically the same for the local device login as used in the legacy Smart Control Center. Are you attempting to login on the correct switch?

Re: GS752TP Unable to login
It is not under cloud management at this time.
I know the password works as the Smart Center is making the changes that I have requested. However, when I try to go to the web admin page, I am unable to logon using the same password.
I recently had the same issue with a Cisco SG300-20 switch and was able to get into that one via SSH. I found the problem on the Cisco was that somehow the web logon was trying to authenticate to tacacs. I removed that from the config using SSH and was able to get into the Cisco switch.
Not so lucky on the Netgear. Never enabled telnet or SSH. My fear is I am going to have to factory default the switch. Was hoping to not have to do that but need to figure out what is causing it to do that.
Thanks!
