M4250 Unable to edit default data profile GSM4210PD 8 Port

I’d like to edit the default data profile so that it gives out ip addresses in the 192.168.0.x range. I think I’m doing it correctly, I hit apply then save but it never works and just defaults back to the default. Could someone help me make this work. Thanks

Hi Erwin,

Thanks for getting back. I’m away from that unit right now so unable to provide any screen shots.

I have a simple project where I would like to change the default Data profile so that it gives out ip addresses in the 192.168.0.x range.

I’ve gone to edit the default profile and have done the following:
1. Clicked the button to edit the IP Setting
2. Selected DHCP from the dropdown
3. Set the router address as 192.168.0.1
4. Set a pool as 192.168.0.100 to 200
5. Set the DNS server to be 192.168.0.1
6. Click apply and save the config

These settings never save, when I look at the profile it’s just defaulted back, IP settings say none.

I thought I might need to change the management address of the router to 192.168.0.1 but event that setting doesn’t change.

Any help appreciated.

Are you trying to modify the profile from the "Main UI or from "AV UI"? Can you provide a screenshot of it?
