M4300 12x12 fiber

I want to assign first four sfp of m4300 to VLAN 10 then connect first sfp of 4300 to Netgear prosafe 24 port. Should I assign the sfp of prosafe as trunk or VLAN 10. So that I can ping device on prosafe VLAN 10 and copper port on m4300.

Re: M4300 12x12 fiber

@sakiv,

I believe you want to set LAG on the first 4 SFP ports of the M4300, am I right?  If yes, you may select the first 4 SFP ports as members of a LAG (for example: LAG 1).  Then, create VLAN 10 and select LAG 1 as tagged (T) members of VLAN 10.  For PVID, you can set the PVID to 1 since LAG 1 is tagged.

On the M4300 user manual here, kindly read pages 268-272 about LAG.  Read pages 178-180 about Basic VLAN Settings.  Read pages 184-186 about VLAN Membership.  For PVID, read pages 187-189.
