M4300-24X24F and INTEL - NETWORKING XDACBL1M ETHERNET SFP + TWINAXIAL

Hi,

I want to buy M4300-24X24F. I'm using Intel® XL710-AM1 network adapter. Can I conect Intel® XL710-AM1 and M4300-24X24F by INTEL - NETWORKING XDACBL1M ETHERNET SFP + TWINAXIAL ?

Thansk!

Hi minhneo,

Welcome to the community! 🙂

I believe you can connect the Intel® XL710-AM1 to the M4300-24X24F switch since I have read from the specifications of the Intel® XL710-AM1 here that it supports 10Gb of ethernet connection.  However, about using Intel XDACBL1M Ethernet SFP + Twinaxial, it may or may not work.

We recommend to use the compatible SFP modules and Direct Attach Cables compatible for the M4300 series switches indicated here

Hi minhneo

Again, welcome to the community! Smiley Happy

I just checked Intel® XDACBL 1M (3.3 ft) SFP+ 10 GbE direct attach passive copper cable specifications, and this looks MSA standard.

As expected, Intel® XL710-AM1 network adapter should support it, and our M4300-24X24F should support it as well.

Please let us know if you require any other information relative to our M4300 Switch Series - what do you like the most about M4300-24X24F?

Regards,
