M4300 Series - SFP Support - 1000BASE-BX
Hi,
i didn't find any Sources if the M4300 Series supports the 1000BASE-BX SFPs.
It doesn't look like there are no pointers even in the Datasheet.
Do you guys have some insight on this?

Re: M4300 Series - SFP Support - 1000BASE-BX
The interface of a 1/1.25/2.5/5/10G is based on the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) specification and SFF-8472 - it does not care much on what is going on the other end of the module, on the line level - here IEEE 802.3ah and 1000BASE-BX. To my knowledge, Netgear does not enforce vendor ID and model codes, so "any" MSA modules should work.
There was a discussion recently where it was found that one model (or model/firmware combination) might have an issue -> M4300-24X24F Simplex SFP not working.
@LaurentMa that might be a topic for you.
