SFP+ long distance
Hello,
J'aimerais connecté deux switchs en fibre sur une distance de 80 km. Quels inserts pouvez-vous me conseiller ? Est-ce que des HP ou Cisco seront compatible ?

Les Switches manageables NETGEAR M5300 series vont supporter des modules SFP+ (transceivers fibre) tiers, tant qu'ils seront MSA standard. Avec HP or Cisco pour des modules respectant le standard 10 Gigabit Ethernet, il n' y a pas de problème de compatibilité. Chez NETGEAR, nous fournissons des modules SFP+ 10GBASE-LR compatible monomode jusqu'à 10km seulement. Pour 40km, je vous conseille le transceiver HP X132 10G SFP+ LC ER Transceiver J9153A que nous avons testé avec succès sur nos switches manageables.
Mais attention, 80km en monomode 10G ne semble pas au catalogue chez HP. Ce n'est pas standard. Cisco parle de 10GBASE-ZR comme étant basé sur des spécifications Cisco uniquement: Cisco SFP-10G-ZR Module is a multirate 10GBASE-ZR, 10GBASE-ZW, and OTU2/OTU2e module. It supports link lengths of up to about 80 kilometers on standard single-mode fiber (SMF, G.652). This interface is not specified as part of the 10 Gigabit Ethernet standard and is instead built according to Cisco specifications.
Je ne peux vous confirmer que ce module fonctionne sur nos M5300.
