Netgear Armor's default VPN conflicts with Netgear VPN

Installed Netgear Amor app (vers. 16.0.2) on iPad Pro (iOS 16.7.2).

Installed Netgear VPN (vers 2.0.1) on same device.

Issue: Only one VPN can runs at a time - if you run the Armor VPN, it kills the Netgear VPN, and vice versa.

Q1: Is this expected behavior?

Q2: Netgear Armor's VPN by default gives you only 200mbs/day. Can I upgrade to Armor Plus and get rid of Netgear VPN?

Thanks for any light on this.

Hello @Artegal,

Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!

I understand that you are interested in utilizing the security features of NETGEAR Armor and NETGEAR VPN. For Layer 3 routing purposes, it is best practice to use one VPN at a time. It is expected that some devices will enforce this by disconnecting one VPN when another VPN connection has been initialized. With NETGEAR Armor PLUS you will have unlimited access to NETGEAR VPN.

Please visit the link below for more information about NETGEAR Armor PLUS:

Best,

Kevin
