Netgear armor does not run vulnerability scans for my network on orbi RBR50
I have bought netgear Armor on my RBR50 because of the weekly vulnerability scan of my network.
it turns out it only scanned the first time it was installed, and never after (more than 6 months ago now).
I can’t find a manual way to trigger the scan.
some of my devices are always online, but even those are not being scanned again.
what can I do to have the weekly vulnerability scans run again?
setup:
1 RBR50, 1 RBS50
everything else works fine

Hello MartijnOrbi,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!!!
The Armor vulnerability scans occur automatically once a week.
Please ensure that your Armor app is up-to-date then follow the instructions embedded in the link below:
Best,
Kevin

Thanks for your response, these are indeed the steps that I followed, but the vulnerability scans never take place anymore.
Any other ideas?

Re: Netgear armor does not run vulnerability scans for my network on orbi RBR50
Kevin,
I Also Have An RBR50 and RBS50 And Have Upgraded Them To 2.7.4.24.
I Have An ARMOR subscription in Force Until 2/2023 and The Orbi App Is Telling Me That It hasn't Run A Scan In A Year. I Read The Article You Referenced And FLipped armor Off And Then ON. It Didn't Help.
The App Says Scanning Failed Please Start It Again In 24 hours. My Scan Hasn't Run Successfully Since July 3, 2021.
How Can I Fix This?
Thanks!
David

It seems the case that you opened with support has been closed without giving any resolution.
Could you please reopen. This is clearly an issue that I cannot solve from my end.

Re: Netgear armor does not run vulnerability scans for my network on orbi RBR50
Hi @MartijnOrbi !
It started working again but I did do a few things.
1) I didn't know, or remember, about https://armor.netgear.com. I saw it mentioned in another post and decided to give it a try. I logged in to take a look at what was going on. I think I removed a couple of devices but had seen that some scans for particular devices had happened.
2) I upgraded the firmware on my Netgear Orbi's. I was only 1 rev back but decided to upgrade both router and satellite, which for some reason I had to manually upgrade the satellite. But both did upgrade.
3) I made sure that I was running the latest Android App
After all that, it seemed to start working again and it is continuing to work. The network monitoring of my network always worked and did its job to ensure that my network was safe.
Then I contacted Kevin, just in case. That threat must have scared the Orbi because it has been fine ever since and I don't think Kevin or the support team had to do anything in the backend.
Regards,
David
