Permission Setting to Run Plex
I have a smart TV with Plex that I’m trying to use to view videos on a ReadyNAS Pro Business that has the Plex server software on it. I believe I don’t have the permission setting correct. When I try to access the ReadyNAS from the TV is sees the NAS but displays the NAS’s name with a red X in front of it with “This server is currently not available” warning. What are the correct permission settings to allow the TV to see the NAS? Thanks.
Model: RNDP6350|ReadyNAS Pro 6 1.5TB (3 x 500GB Enterprise)

Re: Permission Setting to Run Plex
What firmware are you running on the NAS?

Re: Permission Setting to Run Plex
There is a troubleshooting guide here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204604227-why-can-t-the-plex-app-find-or-connect-to-my-plex-media-s...
Some Smart TV plex clients don't support secure authentication. So you might want to scroll down to the "secure connections" part of the troubleshooting guide and try that fairly early.
