I have tried to defrag my NAS three times with the same result. The unit freezes and I am unable to connect to Admin site. I have to unplug unit and then things work OK. The log shows that Defrag starts, then only the restart after unit is restarted. No apps are installed. Scrubbed a few days ago.

What happens if you disable the anti-virus service then try running the defrag again?
