ReadyNAS 4220 10gb connectivity
Hi, we have a new 4220 model with 1gb and 10gb copper connections. We want to use the 10gb interfaces, but do not have any 10gb copper interfaces in the environment. Are there Netgear cards that can be purchased and installed in this to provide 10gb FIBER connectivity?
Thanks for the assist.

Re: ReadyNAS 4220 10gb connectivity
I don't think we support doing that. How recently did you purchase the unit?
It sounds like you purchased the RN4220X when you should have purchased the RN4220S.
We do have some new managed switches with both 10G Fibre and copper ports which you may wish to consider.

Re: ReadyNAS 4220 10gb connectivity
Hmmm looking at the datasheet there is a RN10G2SFP available for purchase, so I guess it might be possible, but I haven't tested it.

Re: ReadyNAS 4220 10gb connectivity
The thing is though you'd be spending quite a bit for a dual-NIC card that would've come standard in the box if you'd bought the right model for your needs.
