ReadyNAS NV+ v2 drives?
So, i got this old unit wich i am using as my backup system,
right now i am running 4xWD20 (ears and earx version).
Lately one of them has started acting up on me with errors,
so i am looking to swap this out, and might as well do a upgrade.
Looking at the legacy list on netgear site i get only one supported 4tb
unit, WD40EFRX, wich is slow, old and still cost arm and leg..
So, i wanted to see if there is a fresh list of drives people have used.
Running RAIDiator 5.3.13
RAID type X-RAID2
I know it a paperweight but i prefer the redundant setup, lost too much data before..
Any ideas??

Just don't. It hasn't been updated for some years.
WD Red Plus and Seagate Ironwolf are fine. Avoid current WD Red Plus models, as they are SMR (which doesn't work that well for RAID).
Enterprise-class drives are of course also ok, but IMO are overkill for your ReadyNAS.
There is a 16 TB volume size limit with your NAS (it won't expand above that ceiling). 3x8TB would be at that ceiling.

@StephenB mistyped to avoid the Red Plus. He meant to avoid the Red (non-plus, non-pro).
Correct. Red Plus are fine (and I use several in my own ReadyNAS). Sorry if that typo created confusion.
