Any chance the ReadyNAS NV+ V2 will be updated to support >4TB drives, or has Netgear limited that to their new NAS series?

You may find that larger capacity drives work for you, but we haven't qualified drives larger than 4TB in capacity for the NV+ v2.

You should stick to our compatibility list: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20641

I notice that the WD red 6TB are on the HCL for the RN314/312. Are they likely to be supported in the RN104/102...that would be a great boost to those devices!

Hi Martin,

I will ask our QA team about that.

Thanks

Cheers! Hopefully its a yes although I doubt I will fill my RN104 in a very long time! It has to be good for Netgear's readynas marketing though

I'm aware of that. I figured that since NetGear has tested the WD60EFRX drives in newer ReadyNAS models, that my 1.5 year old NV+ V2 would still be able to use the newer drives, or that NetGear would take the time to test that out.
