Hi,
I believe that the RN104 and other NAS's in that range support drives up to 8TB in capacity.
Note, that by default RAID is used, so unless you have done something to change that, do not expect the final capacity of your NAS to simply be the sum of all your drives. I think, that when RAID is active, you can expect to "lose" 1 drive of capactity as a "RAID tax" (thank you StephenB for a very apt term). Things get a bit more complicated when you start mixing drives of different capacities.

The general rule for capacity is pretty easy - sum the drives and subtract the largest.
What gets a bit more complicated is knowing what size drives you can add (or replace). It is always ok to replace a drive with one of the same size. With OS 6 NAS, It is also always ok to replace (or add) a drive with one that is the same size as (or larger than) the largest drive currently in the array.

I have it in raid 0 and just wanted to know if you could add disks with more capacity for more general storage.

Re: principle capacity rn104 ReadyNas 100 series Hard Disk
Hi,
RAID 0, is not at all redundant. I think it is simply a mechanism to gain performance only. I believe that RAID 0 means that if you loose any single disk, then you loose all your data!
I have never ran any of my ReadyNAS's in RAID 0, so I cannot tell you how it actually works 😞
I would add that I would never consider running any NAS in that mode either. It is too risky for my liking.

Excuse me! I was wrong, sent the picture of how I got it. It is to take advantage of all the space. I have saved the information is not of much importance, movies, music and little else!
I apologize also if not understand me! I am using a translator. I do not speak English.

Hi,
Ok, now I am confused If I have misunderstood you, I had not realised and I appologise.
I do not know what you have, or how to advise you best. I also seem unable to view those pictures you have posted... Perhaps a look at some of my GUI pages will help you?

Re: principle capacity rn104 ReadyNas 100 series Hard Disk
@henry7629: Your volume is the correct size (7 TB is the same as 6.3 TiB).
Your volume is over 90% full though, which is unwise with BTRFS. Netgear recommends 20% free space.
Also, your jbod mode is fragile. If either disk fails you lose everything.
