Genie with remote access - D7800- Does it support?
My device is Netgear D7800 Modem/Router.
Does it support Genie with remote access? I have trouble with remote access from genie.
I found R7800 model is not support this function. How about D7800?
This is captured picture from Netgear web site.

Hi marson,
1. Please try using another device (Android, iOS, another computer) to register the device.
2. Please try resetting the router.
3. If the issue persists, please try re-flashing the firmware then reset and reconfigure the router.

Hi DexterJB
Thank you for your reply.
However, after checking the Netgear page on the compatiability of the D7800 Firmware Version 1.0.1.10,
it is clearly stated that the genie remote is supported by my device (D7800). I hope you can resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan Lim

Same problem here - Not able to access remotely. Please clarify if it is supported or not. If not is there a fix scheduled?
Thanks

Hi msimms,
The OP's issue has been resolved and he was able to make use of the remote login feature of NETGEAR Genie with his D7800. Please make sure you have gone through the setup process. You can check the link below for the steps.

Hi Dexter,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I've followed the steps from the link you sent. At step 10 it requires you to register. This doesn't work. I get a message "The registration process failed try again?"
I've logged out and tried again, used a different computers to attempt the process. The result is the same.
Is there away to manually register the router?
Thanks
Mark
