@Netduma-Fraser thanks for replying on the speedtest on the xr500 I was getting 90 mbps download and like 60 upload. On speedtest wired to the att router I got 921.07 download and 939.51 upload, did one on fast and it gave me 820 mbps and on dslreports 654 down and 931 up.

Interface Types
Are you able to explain (or get someone to) the different interface types when looing at 'ifconfig' via cli?
There is the various interface types and I am trying to correlate the 'errors' & 'dropped' packets to what type of interface they are/what their purpose is.
Interface | RX errors | RX dropped | TX errors | TX dropped |
ath0 | 1 | 1 | 2692 | 0 |
ath1 | 0 | 0 | 39 | 0 |
br0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
brwan | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
ethlan | 0 | 10004 | 0 | 0 |
ethwan | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
wifi0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
wifi1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Thanks,

after the new factory reset, nothing has changed, everything just like in the last post, only there were problems with visibility in the office management, I already wrote in the manager section, I will add that today all devices lost access to the Internet, it showed connection on devices and the Internet was not there

3.0 bugs. errors all over qos page cant even disable qos. anti buffer doesnt work either.
geo filter has improved but still tends to put you in servers and with people outside your circle.
this update is not even working with connection bench mark. auto adjust speed caps around 700 upload and 400 download but when you run test on xbox download goes past 900 while upload is still quite low at 130 being the best upload so far. there really needs to be a patch coming soon because this beta update has rendered this router useless. because nothing is working

Ever since I updated the firmware to the latest version I have been getting the following issue with the Ping Heatmap. When I installed the new firmware I reset the XR500 to factory defaults. I'm still not able to use the feature.
"Cloud data has not been downloaded. Make sure you have an internet connection and click FORCE UPDATE."
"Downloading data from the cloud has failed. Make sure you are connected to the internet, or the cloud servers are down."

Ath0 is 2.4GHz radio
Ath1 is 5GHz radio
br0 is LAN + WLAN + AP Client + WDS
brwan is WAN
ethlan is LAN
ethwan Is WAN
wifi0 is first wireless interface
wifi1 is second wireless interface
Just to double check, that was dragging the numbers on the ‘flower’ diagram – not by opening the device panel on that feature?
@Raf1212 thanks for checking. If you refresh the page did it then load correctly?
@defiled669 Is that the only error you get or are there any more? By not work do you mean it’s not throttling? How do you have it setup? Have you made a manual rule for Traffic Prioritization? If so what is it?
@alongcory What device/web browser are you accessing the interface on? I assume you do have an internet connection? Just to double check as I’ve seen this before, the XR WAN/Internet port is connected to the ISP modem/router LAN port right?

wifi0 is first wireless interface
wifi1 is second wireless interface
Just to double check, that was dragging the numbers on the ‘flower’ diagram – not by opening the device panel on that feature?
Hey @Netduma-Fraser
Thanks for the replies, most useful!
Looks like I fixed the drops on the ethlan side, I have a Netgear switch connected and it was enabled to forward LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) packets, once I disabled LLDP those errors seem to have stopped incrementing.
Just need to figure out why the TX errors via the Ath0 increment.
Yes you are correct I was dragging via the 'flower' diagram on the System Information Page.
I think by adjusting this it has broken qos now as I see in the logs about applying qos to the WAN zone and then after all the errors are seen, example below:

Is there a way to confirm whether qos is still being applied or just failing? I ask as interestingly my girlfriend has said she has not had any problems with 'Teams' (Skype's replacement) phone calls today stating disconnecting or bad connection so wandering whether it's to do with qos not working or where the tweaking I had done has improved the situation.
Thanks,

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)
Thanks for that @Netduma-Fraser
So when I tried to set the congestion to 50% an error was thrown:
Based on the speed test it doesn't look to have been applied.
Just done a reboot and tried the speedtest with 50% set, it seems to work now, so it does look like when those errors are seen qos is not being applied. I've changed the settings back to 86% for both upload and download and changed it back to 'Auto-enable'.
Will see how Skype (mine) & Teams (girlfriends) behaves tomorrow.

Other Qos issues
Sorry its me again.
One issue I can see at the moment.
- Everytime I browse to the Qos page as it loads it says 'Applying Settings', it even seems to write to the config file sometimes;
- '[DumaOS] config write 'com.netdumasoftware.qos.settings', Tuesday, August 25, 2020 20:03:33'

Re: Other Qos issues
If you clear the browser cache/cookies does it stop applying settings?

Thanks for that.
Just cleared cookies and browser history, it seems to still do it for me.

UPnP Table
Last one for today I promise!
UPnP table does not seem to list any active ports etc.
Just fired up my Xbox for the 1st time since the update and I see nothing in the table now.
Thanks,

Re: Issue reporting thread - POST NEW ISSUES HERE (V 2.63 running DumaOS 3.0.139)
This is something they have never fixed. I am not sure that it can be. It could be DUMA OS or Netgear or both. After the latest firmware, I was really just done with this beta test. So far each subsequent release is worse than the one before it. It is hard to believe we waited almost 7 weeks for this latest release. To top it off, the R2 is not any better.
Same Broken features and with horrible wifi even with the beta they just released for it today. I do not know of one single person that has been happy with the XR series or the R2. Several of us are working from home and need something reliable. This is not it.
Before you rant on me that this is a beta test,
just know that this can barely be called that.
I feel this never left alpha stage at this point.
We are nothing more than some testers doing their work for them which they should have been doing for the last year. Once they get to stable release, which will never come, they will just use all this time we spent on it to intro another router and make a ton of money from it at our expense.
At this point do yourself a favor and put your XR 500 in AP mode and get an Edgerouter. I promise you won't regret it and stop wasting all of your time here.

Having issues with the internet connection dropping. In the past 2 hours it's dropped multiple times, each time i log in it shows DHCP lease change.
Currently running latest version 2.63 (3.0.139), installed and factory reset.
Setup: DM200 (modem only mode) > XR500
Only have a couple ports forwarded but nothing else changed.
Restarted both pieces of equipment each time and internet works for about 20mins and then drops again.
