Okay so that was the issue then, doing it all from the dashboard? Are you able to have something else handle PPPoE to see if that is the case?
Are you saying setup using DHCP DMZ like last time with gateway router and xr500 setup through the lan port on it? Or do I need to try and get a completely seperate router/switch for this?

Yes have the gateway handle PPPoE and just put the XR in the DMZ if you can and then try.

Re: Upload Bufferbloat
I used The Setup Wizard to get setup through DHCP. The QOS bug came back and isn't capping the upload again. I will just factory reset again..

After factory reset upload cap is working but now Connection benchmark just keeps loading and not testing.

I can see you've got AdblockPlus enabled even in Incognito mode, could you disable this, refresh the page and see if it works correctly after that please?

@Netduma-Fraser
Does the Connection benchmark use https to get info? I tried using Microsoft Edge to get bufferbloat results on dsl reports and https speedtest didn't work at all?

Thanks for all the information. There should be a firmware next week I believe so lets see if it is resolved then.
Okay, thankyou for all your help so far. Hopefully it will get fixed so I can use this router. 🙂
