Dear Sirs,

I have successfully updated the firmware from version 1.0.1.6 to 1.0.2.3

now I can't update to the latest firmware (v1.7.1.0) because when I start the update the process stops and the following message appears:

"file image (.bin) is not correct"

Why?

I would like to find the solution to the problem and update the "S8000 switch" to the latest firmware

on my pc there is Windows 7 64bit

My browser Is Google Chrome.

I await suggestions.

I solved the problem.

The switch is now updated to the latest firmware (v1.7.1.0)

The antivirus was blocking the update so I had to disable it.

Try going to an intermediate version like the 1.7.0.6

I have already tried all versions 1.7.x.x but I always get the same message: "the image of the file is not correct" and the switch does not update...

Are you extracting the file before trying to upload it?

yes, obviously I extract the file before the update but the switch does not update
I had no problems with firmware v1.0.2.3
I cannot understand why the switch does not accept firmware from version 1.7 onwards
