0x80070035 Problem w/R7960P and Windows10 Pro
Ok, now I’m disgusted, I spent serious dollars for a new Nighthawk R7960P router that won’t allow connections to the USB attached WD 2 TB drive. I’ve tried just about all the solutions listed in the Netgear forums without any success. I have connected after a frustrating 5 or 6 attempts to map network drives but when my Dell XPS 15 7590 wakes from sleep mode the drive is again disconnected. This is a NETGEAR problem I’m convinced and not necessarily a windows issue. Ready to switch to a Linksys after having used 4 NETGEAR routers in past years. Any help is appreciated – otherwise best offer consider for a used Nighthawk.

You may want to contact support if your router is under warranty if it is a hardware issue they would be able to replace the unit.
