AC1900 R700 admin password not recovering

Hi,
My admin password has been changed 192.168.1.1 and its not accepting my figure print or old password.
The recover questions also does not accepts the answer. is there anyway to change the admin password without recovery questions.
can i reset everything.

Yes, you can hold the reset button on the back of the router for 10 seconds but this will reset everything on the router and you will need to set it up again, The default login will be admin/password after you do this.

When will the known broken Password Recovery be fixed systematically, so
- The user is informed if the Password Recovery is not configured yet, and
- the browser incompatibilities (the button is often not enabled so it can't be pressed) on some browsers?
It can't be that this problem exists for years, the design is sub-par, and still carried forward to all new Netgear routers.
