After the upgrade to V1.0.9.32_10.2.34, all android devices are no connecting to the internet via Wifi. PC, Laptops, iPads are connecting. Though there are several discussions on the same topic. This is seems to have surfaced in the new firmware as well.
Is it time to say good-bye to Netgear?

That is my opinion. With all the firmware issues that Netgear seems unable to fix I put a r8000 and a r8000p on shelf collecting dust now unpluged. Got a Asus RT-AC86U and that just runs with Merlin firmware. Only router I would even think about with the Negear name on it is the r7800. The Asus just runs. Never needs rebooting until I install new firmware. Up for 32 days currently. Not many Netgear owners can say that from what I read plus my experience.

Hi jmadhanraj,
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
I recommend to reset the router to factory default after loading a firmware and start from scratch to obtain an accurate reading.

Re: Android Devices donot connect after upgrade to 1.0.9.32
Rebooted and power cycled router several times
Power cycled phones several times
Turned wifi on and off
Nothing in router logs
Access control off
symptoms:
connects and then immediately says disabled.
Note: Android 5.0.2 tablet connects fine as do all other wireless and wired devices

Re: Android Devices donot connect after upgrade to 1.0.9.32
Have resetted the router and loaded the configuration from the backup of the configuration file. Still the same issues. For one of the earlier firmwares, Netgear has released a patch for the same issue, hopefully they do that again now.
In the current era, it looks inappropriate to reset and start from stratch the configuration, system should have better diagnostics and able to locate the errors.

What you did proved nothing.
Resetting the router and then loading a backup of the configuration put the router right back to where it was. It may seem inappropriate to reset and do a new configuration, but when having issues this is one step that needs to be taken, just in case there is something stuck in the old configuration.

Re: Android Devices donot connect after upgrade to 1.0.9.32
But with 1.0.9.26 firmware, it is working fine using the backed up configuration.
I would expect Netgear to fix the issue, like it released a patch for similat issue in the earlier firmware.

Re: Android Devices donot connect after upgrade to 1.0.9.32
1.0.9.34 direct upgrade did not help either, had to roll back to 1.0.9.26. I still do not have time for full reset and reconfiguration. Since I use MAC based access control for over 30 devices at home, reconfiguration is a big effort.
