Can I use a R8300 as an extender for my AX6000 router?
I have an old R8300 router that I would like to see if I can use as an extender for my AX6000. I tried https://kb.netgear.com/24108/How-do-I-enable-the-extender-mode-feature-on-my-Nighthawk-router but my R8300 doesn't have the "Enable Wireless Repeating Function", the only option I have is "Enable AP Mode". Does that mean I can't use this router as a repeater for my AX6000 to extended coverage to my garage?

That router model doesn't have a wireless extender/repeater mode.
If you can hardwiring it in, you could use AP mode. An option to do that is either to run an ethernet cable use powerline, or use moca adapters.
