How to I troubleshoot this if it doesn't work? The readycloud enviroment just says "No volumes or USB Disks".
The disk is a Seagata Expansion 2TB. Is it a faulty disk? Should I format the drive differently?
does it work in a pc?

Yes it works on a PC and my previous HD has also always worked.
I will follow up your links to see if it can have the solution in there.
I guess exFAT is the problem right?
That'd be a good place to start with fixing the format for it 🙂

Did you check the manual?
USB storage supports just about everything except ex FAT.

Don't get hooked on ReadyCLOUD. It dies next April.
