Connection droping randomly for seconds
Model: Nighthawk X6 AC3000 R7900
Firmware version: V1.0.4.30_10.0.49
I have a Nighthawk X6 AC3000 R7900 router and my connection drops randomly, first time I saw this problem was in my windows pc that I got 2000ms ping spikes while pinging 8.8.8.8 and sometimes an error of timout or something like that, I thought it was a problem of my pc, but after months trying to solve this I found out that at the same time I have the ping spike or the timeout, my phone connection also stops working for a moment, and then I also found out that my ps4 connection have the same problem, so is not a problem of my pc, phone or ps4. I'm around 6ft away from my router.
I don't know what other info you will need to help me, but ask me for it if is needed. I hope someone could solve this. Thanks!
*Have to point out that english is not my main language so i guess you may excuse me about it

Re: Connection droping randomly for seconds
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
Since the firmwares been updated, has a factory reset and clean install ever been done?

Re: Connection droping randomly for seconds
The Zte Gpon Ont Zxhn F660 has its own integrated router.
Is it in passthrough/modem only mode?
or the netgear in access point mode?
Otherwise you're in a double nat.

Re: Connection droping randomly for seconds
I think my modem is in passthrough mode, well in my country, is bridge mode ("modo puente" in spanish), but i suppose yes. Double nat seems to be the problem?

Checking this https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT and this https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
the solution is putting modem in bridge mode, and it is already in

Re: Connection droping randomly for seconds
Not all providers implement bridge mode/passthrough mode properly.
Try putting it back in gateway/router mode and put the netgear in access point mode.
