OK dug around the discussion boards, web searched, reset to factory, updated to firmware version V1.0.9.88_10.2.88, tried changing broadcast channels all with no resolution.
Wi-Fi keeps dropping connection on PC's and handheld devices. Wired seems to be OK but tired of this, and NetGear seems to be oblivious to resolving the issue as I see many others with the same issue and no resolution. Haven't had these problms that I recall until approximately 1 month ago or so...
Any ideas other than what I have previously stated I can try?
Netgear Router R7000
Thanks

Re: Connectivity Issues
If you've dug around the boards, you'd find that the agreed upon stable version of the firmware for the R7000 is the 1.0.9.42 version.
Try downgrading to that, factory reset afterwards, and then manually re-install the router. Disable auto-updates.
What modem is it connected to?

Re: Connectivity Issues
Yup, saw that on the boards as well.
I have my router connected to a Netgear CM1000 modem.
Thanks

Re: Connectivity Issues
Not sure if your router has these settings but, if they do, try disabling both 'airtime fairness' and '20/40 MHz coexistence', to see if your wireless situation improves.
