Constant Errors Only with NBA 2K21
I get disconnected from every NBA2K21 online game I try to play. I keep getting the same error codes despite not losing connection to the internet. I have 1GB internet and am connected to the router via ethernet. Has anyone solved this?

What firmware are you on?
What modem/gateway are you using?

Re: Constant Errors Only with NBA 2K21
It's connected to a port in the wall. I'm not sure how to futher confirm this? I live in an apartment complex and they already had a modem installed I believe.

Somethings on the other end of that port. I'd check with either your isp or your apartment complex (if they provide the internet service)

I think it's a gateway. I talked to my ISP and they said everything looks good on their end.

And whats on that end?
If its an gateway with an integrated router, it can cause a double nat.

Its why we ask.

Ok. What exactly do I need to find out from my ISP? I'll call them back but want to make sure I'm asking the right questions.

Re: Constant Errors Only with NBA 2K21
Its it a fibre setup? and if so, what gateway is it?
Is it a communal setup? such as they provide internet to the whole complex and everyone has internet? usually then its a firewall/router setup in the apartment complex and they just drop a line to each setup.
Easy check for you? put the router in access point mode and connect it. If it works fine, then its probably a dual nat issue.
If it doesn't, reset the router and reinstall it .

Re: Constant Errors Only with NBA 2K21
They told me it's an action tech modem. 192.168.0.1
They are 1 of 2 companies with internet available in each apartment. When it was installed they just had to change out outlet port so an ethernet cable could be connected and then it was activated.

Actiontec makes a lot of modems. many with their own integrated routers. If you go to that ip address and log in, what actiontec is it? And does it have its own integrated router?

Re: Constant Errors Only with NBA 2K21
So apparently there was a miscommunication from my ISP. The black box is an ONT. So they are saying the only settings that can be adjusted are through my router.

Do you have any other information that could help me?

If you plug your game console directly into the wall outlet and use it, do you get the errors?

So unplug my router and connect the ethernet to that port?

Re: Constant Errors Only with NBA 2K21
try this. install version 1.1.0.86 of the firmware to it. Make sure to do it over a hardwired connection. Once installed, factory reset the router and do a clean install (not from a backup). Disable auto-updates.
Once reinstalled, put the consoles IP address into the netgears dmz again.
run it. see how it works.

Re: Constant Errors Only with NBA 2K21
Ok. Can you clarify the DMZ part? I'm only seeing "Default DMZ server" as a DMZ option. So just make sure that's checked and enter the console's IP into it? My console's IP address isn't the one entered for it currently, could that be a potential fix?
