Re: Do I have to use Itunes for music streaming from my R7000?

I'm thinking of setting up a music server on a hard drive, which would be attached to my R7000.
Is the use of Itunes a requirement? If it is, I won't bother because I can't stand Itunes. Can I stream music from an R7000-attached hdd using generic DLNA? I want to stream to several devices, including Win7 and Win10 PCs, and also a PS3.
Thanks for any assistance.

The R700 supports native DLNA, and also exports the file system with SMB.
