Does Freezing temperatures damage device
I have a netgear prosafe 16 port 10/100 switch fs116p. My pipes recently froze and busted. After the clean up we noticed that none of the ethernet connections worked. Is it possible the box was damaged? If so, what is the best way to confirm. Trying to see if its the box, or the cords, or both that need to replaced.
Not familiar with this, so any guidance provided would be helpful.
Thank you!

Re: Does Freezing temperatures damage device
Freezing temps should normally not affect a router. A lot of routers suffer from high temps so quite a few people put fans blowing under them to lower the temps. If you have a (very) cool environment, it should be beneficial for the router.. Though I should not place an NG router in a place at -20C temps
