Download speeds MK62
Hi,
I need to identify a suitable mesh for my home internet. Currently I have a virgin media super hub 3 but it cant cope with all my connections (>30). The MK 62 looks like a decent option given it also supports wifi 6. Howver, Virgin media are introducing a 1 GB product. the tech for the MK62 says it has a combined speed of 1800 mbps but I dont understand what it means by "combined speed" and I wonder what a trues speed is?
Also, does it automatically download updates etc.

Re: Download speeds MK62
combined speed is 600mbps from the 2.4ghz and the 1200mbps from the 5ghz. Keep in mind that those are link speeds, not throughput speeds. And they don't have a dedicated backhaul like the triband systems do.
if it was me, i'd go for one of the triband mesh systems.
The dual bands have lower performance and are pretty much the base level for getting into mesh even though they are AX.
my RBK53 system from years ago would be faster than the MK62 system.
