How to block device for accessing LAN?

I can't find option to block an device from acessing LAN, or Mac address filtering.

The only option i could find is "Access control" but i've tried and tested it, it only block internet access, not Local Area Network.

I also couldn't find it under Advanced Setup-Wireless Setting, there is no "Setup Access List" option either

Or does this router simply doesn't have simple features like Mac address filtering like every other router have?

As it says in the Access Control KB referred ... "Blocking devices with access control only blocks them from accessing the Internet. Devices can still access your router’s local network and communicate with your connected devices."

Comes the question why a device physically connected to your router should be blocked. In case the device is connected to a switch - there is nothing the the router could block prohibiting the LAN access on that switch.

Note: The LAN ports are just switch ports, too.

Or are you talking of a device associated to the wireless and you try to block it's access to the LAN?

I don't think that every other router has such a feature - without knowing exactly what you want to achieve.

What most consumer routers have are MAC address filters (access/block lists) for the wireless radios or SSIDs.

For what it's worth, I believe you can block LAN access as follows (requires more admin attention when allowing new devices to access your LAN):

1. Choose an IP address range that covers only the number of devices you want to participate in your network.

  - In LAN setup, if your starting IP address is 192.168.1.2, set the last component of the ending IP address to starting IP address + (#devices on your LAN) - 1. For example, if you have 20 devices that you want on your home network, set ending IP address to 192.168.1.21 (which is 2 + 20 -1).

2. Add an IP reservation for all devices that you want to participate in your network.

  - In LAN setup, use address reservation to assign an IP address to the MAC address of each device on your network.

If any other device, wired or wireless, attempts to obtain an IP address, the router will not assign one because the IP address range is limited to the number of devices that already have all IP addresses in that range reserved.
