You can configure it either on the Web Genie or Dekstop Genie.

Ok I did that and disabled the traffic meter and it worked perfectly for two days and now we are back to the amber light.

Hi @Ldyluk10,

Have you checked if traffic meter is enabled again? It will go on amber if the traffic meter is disabled. Maybe it was enabled again that is why you get amber internet.

I tried all these with no luck. Updated router firmware from v1.0.2.194 to latest (v1.0.5.48_1.1.79) and problem seems solved. Hadto reboot the router and my modem for everything to wok after the update, but so far...

All of this,is fine if you are technically inclined, but for me, average Joe, it pisses me off that the SECOND netgear router is doing the same thing and I'm once again without internet service. Officially done with Netgear equipment. Taking this POS back to best buy for a refund.
