Is there a Modem Router that is compatible with FIOS fiber optic
I am switching to FIOS fiber optic from a DSL service. This is NOT cable. I want to know if there is a viable Netgear alternative that one can buy rather than paying a monthly rental fee to FIOS. I have moderate technical abilities but not advanced.
Thanks.

Re: Is there a Modem Router that is compatible with FIOS fiber optic
Fiber ISP services use diffferent HW and most likely no modem. Contact the Fibert ISP service for this information to see what they support and is offered by them. NG doesn't have any Fiber ONTs or ONTs with built in routers. Most ONTs installed can be connected directly to a wifi router like NGs wifi router produce lines. Nighthawk or Orbi.
