My router is choking my internet speed
Hello Folks,
My router is slowing down my internet speed.
I have a 400Mbit/40Mbit setup, and have verified that speed at the modem.
But on the router side it is choked down to 160Mbit.
I am running firmware 1.0.4.120_10.0.91.
Is there a reason, or a fix for this?
Thanks,

Re: My router is choking my internet speed
1. what router do you have?
2. what modem/gateway do you have?
3. make sure qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls are all disabled and reboot the device?

Re: My router is choking my internet speed
I have the R6400v2.
Cable modem DOCSIS 3
None of that is on.
It was working at the specified speed and now doesn't.
I am guessi g when I did the firmware update, that broke it.
Now I can barely get 200Mbit throughput.

Re: My router is choking my internet speed
You might try updating to the latest 1.0.4.126 firmware, then doing a factory reset and reinstall.
