Netgear R7000p change region

Who will tell you how to change the region in the router settings. The default is North America on a gray background.

Looks like you got a US version. You can't just change regions willingly. There are regulations for different continents.

I don't think so, I have another router of the same type, bought on Ebay, and it somehow switched to the Europe region.

I'm afraid that that does not prove anything. @microchip8 may be spot on. Routers sold outside North America do not have the same "lock".

If the other router have arrived originally had European settings that someone set to "NAS", that would not prevent a later switch back to another region. If you have one that arrived locked to NAS, you are stuck.

This used to work on some routers:

Solved: WNDR3700v2 (N600) - Can't change wifi region - NETGEAR Communities

Unlike the R7XXX generation, newer routers don't even have an option to "move" them to NAS.

Just another user with time on their hands.
