Nighthawk R7000 AC1900 - configuration setup as a wireless repeater
I have a Nighthawk R7000 ac1900 router that was replaced by a new Nighthawk AX12 Ax11000 lRAX200 router.
I want to setup my old R7000 as either a wireless bridge, AP, repeater/extender.
I want or would hope I can extend the Guest Network on my new AX12.
Currently my AX12 is running Netgear81 (2.4ghz)
Netgear81-5g1 Netgear81-5g2 and a Guest Network off the Netgear81 (2.4ghz) channel.
Does anyone have a video that will walk me thru setting up the old R7000 as a wireless repeater (on the 2.4ghz Guest Network channel) or a PDF document?
My question a bit long winded but the short version is setting up old R7000 as a wireless repeater on the guest Network of the new router.
Thanks
Bob

Re: Nighthawk R7000 AC1900 - configuration setup as a wireless repeater
there's already been one written. simply follow the guide and have it connect to the 2.4ghz guest network.
How do I enable the extender mode feature on my Nighthawk router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Manuals are always a good place to start. Did you find that?
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Set Up the Router in Bridge Mode.
You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
