I Hello
I have a Netgear Router R7000 Nighthawk with an USB HDD attached that I use to backup my laptop to. Problem is that the ReadySHARE vault from time to time for some reason pauses and I'm not able to resume it thereafter. I've tried to restart the router, exit the ReadySHARE program, disconnect and reconnect the HDD. But still I'm not able to get it back from resume mode. So what I've done some times now is that I've been forced to delete the backup and restart all over again. Anyone having a clue on how to resume the backup? Or is there some way I can start over without having to delete the backup and start from scratch?
Details
Router: Nighthawk R7000, latest firmware (V1.0.7.12_1.2.5)
Netgear ReadySHARE vault: version 7.0.1.100
HDD: WD Elements, 1 TB
Laptop: HP Spectre 360, Intel Core i7, Windows 10 Home (version 1607)

Yes - I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times.
Since last time which was appr. a week ago it has been working though. Keeping my fingers crossed it will continue to work this time...

What is the reason why the back up pauses? Did you encounter any disconnection from the router?
Try to uninstall and reinstall the ReadyShare Vault.

Actually I don't know why it pauses. It seems to be randomly - or at least I haven't figured it out yet.
And I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the ReadyShare Vault but then I can't reconnect the previous backup and have to start all over again.

Unfortunately it has now disconnected or "paused" and I can't get it to resume the backup again. I've been away for a week and when returning I noticed that the computer was paused.
Any ideas on how to reconnect without having to start all over again?
