My firmware is up to date. My WPS is on, I've reboot the router and powered down the modem. All old devices come back on. Also I'm not showing any signal strength on the router nighthawk app.
I purchased a new Deco AX3000 router. It also says can't connect to the internet.
Looks more like my provider Co-Mo Connect modem may be the problem. My router is 5 yrs old. I've had the provided modem over 8 yrs.

What firmware version are you on? The latest doesn't help
what modem/gateway is it connected to?
How many devices are connected?
Are you using smart connect?

Firmware is 1.1.4.94----Maybe you mean 1.4.4.94? If not, you are outdated by quite a ways.
Not sure about gateway----Thats important to check. A double nat can cause issues.
15 devices---should still be able to add devices.

Re: Nighthawk R8000P won't accept new devices
I don't know how to check the gateway. The cable connects from the modem to the router.
I tried 3 wyze v3 cameras and all said the same thing can't connect to wifi.
I've tried to connect other cell phone to my wifi calling, says the same thing can't connect. No new device will connect.

Re: Nighthawk R8000P won't accept new devices
How do I check if the if the ipv6 is enabled.
I'll probably have to check it on my netgear app on my PC.
The phone is on 2.4gig when connecting cameras.
I have to run some errands and won't be back tell later this afternoon.
Thank you for helping

Re: Nighthawk R8000P won't accept new devices
From what I could find, that calix is a modem/router combo device. It causes a double nat.
A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.
https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
Fixes? There’s 3 options but only use 1.
1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass through mode. This disables its routing functions.
2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway’s wireless enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. Wifi/ethernet still works but it does disable some features.

Re: Nighthawk R8000P won't accept new devices
I'm going to hold off doing anything to the router tell Co-Mo looks at the modem.
I'll let you know what he finds.
Thank you
