Odd device manager item XR500 on W7-64

I have various computers using the XR500 and everything seems to be working.

On only one machine .. a W7-64, its Device Manager shows:

Other Devices/NETGEAR XR500 Nighthawk Pro Gaming WiFi

with an exclamation mark.

The options are:

Update

Disable

Uninstall

Scan for Hardware Changes

Properties:

General   the drivers for this device are not installed

UPDATE DRIVER does not find any.

This is on the W7-64 machine ONLY.  Do I ignore, it, Disable it, or Uninstall it?

You can right-click and delete. It might be there if you had a USB device connected, but there isn't likely any need for it.

I'm with @shadowsports. That message has nothing to do with your router, which has no need for any drivers on your PC.

PS You'll have to wait for you image to become available. A Netgear moderator has to approve it. It can be easier to attach a file to your message rather than embed it.

That's it.  This is the machine I use when drive is directly connected for any reason.  THANK YOU.  I will just delete it for now.  I will also attach files in the future.  Thank you ... both.
